We remember the Titanic with a dinner with Chef Nick Saxon, based on the final dinner menu served on the Titanic in the 2nd class.

About this event

Thanks to the popularity of Chef Nick's 1st class Titanic Dinners in 2021, we will be exploring the 2nd class menu for 2022.

The Titanic sailed April 10 to April 15, leaving one of the most recognizable events in modern history. For the second class passengers, dinner was an event almost as grand as the first class.

Chef Nick will be recreating courses from this menu for his demonstration class this evening. We’ll talk about food, cooking, and a little bit of history!

Here's what we're cooking:

  • Consomme of Tapioca (beef, veal & chicken stock)

  • Baked Haddock with Sharp Sauce

  • Curried Chicken with Rice

  • Roast Turkey with Savory Cranberry Sauce

  • Boiled & Roasted Potatoes

  • Turnip Sauce

  • Plum Pudding with Sweet Sauce

  • Coconut Sandwich

Period dress is encouraged! Have fun with it!
